Here's the timeline:

April 15th and 16th: Had fever chills, subsided.
April 17th: Began developing a slight sore throat
April 19th: Was tested positive for strep throat after seeing my left tonsil had white spots. However, no fever or any flulike symptoms were present. Still had an appetite, energy, etc. All that hurt was my left tonsil. Started on Amoxicillin. Was told to return in 5 days if not better,
April 21st: Sore passed around the throat to the other tonsil. Went back to doctor. Prescribed Prednisone steroid along with Amoxicillin. Steroid seemed to reduce the swelling a little, but still no cure.
April 22nd: Went back to doctor because it was worsening. Prescribed Levaquin 750 mg.
April 26th: White streaks on both tonsils extending back. No swollen glands, no flulike symptoms, have energy, minor/moderate pain, feels like my throat is closing up in the back and feels like I have phlegm sitting on my tonsils. Very light cough. No pain on side of head or leading up to ear. No swollen glands. Just white streaks and soreness on my tonsils. And they are streaks, not spots. I don't understand how my throat can be so jacked and I still have no flulike symptoms. This is just odd.

Is this thrush? Strep? Tonsilitis? A combination? Can thrush be present without being in excrutiating pain or flulike symptoms? How about strep? Can I have a combination of things happening?

Any help will be appreciated.
