Q: White Spot on lungs

I have a white spot on my lungs for more than 4 years I've been medicated for for almost two years for PTB. but still the white spot is still there, I stop medication because my doctor said that It is hard to remove the scar from PTB. since my sputum test is always negative and I had culturation of sputum and everything is normal. I just want to ask if I should go on treatment again even though there is no sypmtoms of ptb?

Dealing with pulmonary tuberculosis is a serious thing.

I'm not sure why you stopped the medication...but if you did not finish treatment, I suggest that you re-start. Incomplete treatment of TB infections (such as failure to take medications for the prescribed length of time) can contribute to the emergence of drug-resistant strains of bacteria...which is not good for anyone.
