Hello,

I am a 24 year old male. I first noticed that it was painful to swallow on the right side about a week and a half ago (12 days ago). So I assumed it was a sore throat. About 5 days ago I saw this reddish bump (with a white border on the top back right side of my tongue. It is usually painful when food goes over it or when I swallow. Some days it felt better but other days when I eat food on the right side its make it feel even more painful.

Also about 2 days ago I noticed a whitish/yellow coating on the very back part of my tongue near my sore. I scraped it off with my toothbrush but it keeps coming back. I sometimes get a weird or bad taste in my mouth.

I recently checked my throat today I think I saw little red bumps (smaller than the one sore that hurts) on my left side. But I'm not sure if they are sores since it doesn't hurt to chew on my left side of my mouth.

I took a picture of my mouth here is the link:

As you can see the left side of tongue (my right side of tongue) Has a bump (sore feeling) that looks like almost 2 bumps. Then the middle of tongue has that white and yellowish patch. While of the right side (my left side of tongue) has a a couple bumps that aren't painful which I thought they might be sores too.

I've been taking Nexium for 20 days (for Acid Reflux). Maalox (anti-acid) every now and the for heartburn. Align (Probiotic) a couple times a week. Colon helper and fiber pills (relieve constipation) for a hernia I just had. Garlic occasionally.

Thank you for your time
