Q: White Oval Patch on Cheek

Whenever I burn, I burn mostly on my nose and and cheek bones. Lately, I've realized that there is this oval shaped, white patch with a sort of waxy feel to it, where I usually burn the worst. Is this just some kind of scar that I could possibly get? Or, might it be something worse?

What's the size of the white patch?
Is it summer in your place now?
Is this patch with very fine scales?
Does it have distinct borders and milky white color?
