Whirling Light in my Mind's Eye since '75 But I was high...

I have been seeing a whirling kind of light in my mind's eye since 1975. I am wondering if it is my ocipital lobe or my peneal gland. I was high on marijuana. I think it was just marijuana. But, I was also high on God and experimenting with Hare Krsna mantra meditation. I was in New Mexico at the age of seventeen and eventually was hitting my head on the ground. I started seeing this whirling in my mind at the time and that whirling light has been there every since. I see the light more in the dark or with my eyes closed. The fluctuations of the light change from time to time. I am looking for a better prognosis or even diagnosis. Thanks!
