I'm currently on Seasonique and very happy on it. However my new doctor is concerned about a genetic condition that I have that makes me prone to clots. I have never had one but she feels I'm playing russian roulette by staying on a combo pill. She has suggested I switch to a progestin only pill or find a new doctor (since she can't ethically prescribe my combo pill, which I understand). I got a second opinion and was told to switch. So my question is what POP will give me the same effect as Seasonique/Seasonale? Normally I wouldn't care but I'm getting married in a year and definitely don't want to deal with my period on my big day. Any suggestions? (Oh & depo is definitely not an option) Thanks!
