Okay, here we go. well I am in my 28th week of pregnancy and an early (6week) ultrasound gave me an EDD of July 10th 2009! This due date would put me at conception/ovulation October 17th 2008. I ended my b/c pills Sept.27th 2008 and had some spotting october 2nd & 3rd, which was early because my period was not supposed to start until october 7th.Which by the 2 week average for ovulation would also put me at ovulation on on oct. 17th 2008. I had unprotected sex with my ex atleast 2 to 3 times a week until october 17th he would ejaculate in me every time. On october 17th around midnight i had sex with a friend unprotected using pull out method. Is there anyway i could possibly get a good idea of who the father is of the child im carrying?!?!?! PLEASE HELP!!!!

also---at 20 week ultrasound, the tech gave me an EDD of July 4th..moving my due date forward 6 days!

Ultrasounds done in the first trimester are more accurate than ultrasounds that are done later in the pregnancy, so I wouldn't get too excited about the new delivery date. Also, when a woman has sex with different men so closely together there is no way to know which man is the father of her child without a DNA test. Sorry.

thanks for your post.
i know the ultrasound dates done early are the most accurate ones, but since my due date is July 10th putting me at an approximate conception date of October 17th. Would that make it more likely that having the intercourse where my ex would ejaculate in me several days during my fertile period(the 5 days before ovulation) is the intercourse that led to conception on the 17th? Since actually the sex i had with my friend who pulled out didnt occur till after midnight on the 17th making it actually the 18th?? sorry if this is a bit confusing i am just trying to get as much relief and as close to an idea of the father before my baby arrives as i possibly can...for the reason of who to DNA test first and try to get it right without going through an extreme amount of time & money....if you could help i would appreciate it! thanks

Yes, it's more likely that you are pregnant by your boyfriend but you should not pin your hopes on this. There is a type of non- invasive DNA test that can be done with the mother's blood while she is still pregnant. This does not affect the baby in any way. You should consider having this done if you can't wait until after the birth for a DNA test.

We are not allowed to advertize or promote any websites so I can't give the address. I can tell you what search words to use. "Non- invasive prenatal paternity test using only the mother's blood" is a direct quote from one site that offers this service. Keep in mind that this is a relatively new procedure; I do not know how accurate the results are. I would suggest that you research this first and check out the company with the better business bureau just to be on the safe side.
Good luck.
