Hello,

Welcome to ehealthforum

According to the symptoms you have described it seems that yout hymen is still intact and that is why you are experiencing the pain.Ask your partner to have enough lubrication before inserting. You can also use artificial lubricants and increase the foreplay time.He can also do fingering and break the hymen slowly.Initially there would be some pain.
If your partner is still not able to penetrate and you experience a lot of pain kindly visit a Gynaecologist and get yourself examined as sometimes the pelvic muscles are very tight.

Take Care!

Especially eHealthy
kmutay, Your hymen is right at the entrance to your vagina. When you developed in your mother's womb, your hymen sealed off your insides to prevent fluid from entering your developing body.

If you pull your inner lips open, you should see your hymen in the vaginal entrance without having to pull anything else open.

What happens if you stick your finger into your vagina? How deep can it go? Do you feel your cervix (feels like the tip of your nose with a little dimple in the middle at the top of your vagina)?

Don't be afraid to explore and figure out what is going on. As long as your hands are clean, you cannot do any harm. Take a mirror and look.

Take care.
