I have been pregnant 4 time all with twins....the two times i went full term only one of my babies servived.....its been years and i forget how soon can you tell if you are having twin?

Hi,
Welcome to ehealthforum.
If you are pregnant and suspect having twins again, then request your gynecologist for a scan at 6-8 weeks which will show you are having definite twins. Other tests include a Doppler scan to locate heart beats (it would locate 2 in twins are present), high AFP and HCG levels. Excessive weight gain, morning sickness and fatigue also indicate twin pregnancy.
