My son is 2 years and 3 months. He is still bottle feeding and on the diapers. I want to send him to pre-school next year but he has to be potty trained. When do I start doing this, and how do I do it?

my son is 3 and is telling me he doesnt want big boy undies. He'll use the bathroom when hes in the mood, but when i try to take him to the bathroom (not by his reqwest) he tells me no and fights. Everyone tells me hes 0ld enough but i don't want to push it.
