Q: When to know if pregnant ?

My friend just recently had an abortion and just got off her cycle. She said her husband really wanted some and they had sex the other day. Now she has a feeling that she might be pregnant even though this just happened a couple of days ago. I suggested that she just go to the dr and have a blood test. She doesnt want to do that being that she just had the abortion. If there is anyone that can help me help her please let me know.

Generally, a woman gets pregnant when she ovulates, which is about 14 days before her next period is due. Your friend can wait until her period arrives...if it's late, she can test. If she gets her period, she's not pregnant. She can take a home urine pregnancy test which are cheap and reliable.
