The ovulation occurs exactly fourteen days before the start of the next period.
So, if you have regular menstrual cycles (lasting 28 days) and the last menstrual period started on 1-24-09, then you can do the math: the next menstrual period was expected to start on 2-21-09. If you abstract fourteen days, you will have the ovulation and conceiving date, which might be 2-07-09.
However, if your period was not regular this time this calculation might not be correct and only testing the baby would determine who the father was.
