Q: When do dogs start teething?
asked by: worrywart01 on October 29th, 2008
Extremely eHealthy
I have a 5 month old puppy that chews on EVERYTHING..i recently noticed after finding some blood on a toy that he had lost a tooth and I found a second tooth today...this is normal at this age I suppose and I guess his adult teeth will grow in fine? is there anything you can do for the discomfort? and about when should his adult teeth be completely grown in...
thanks for any help!

well you are right in that age. teething is usually 5-6 months and about 8-9 you are done. anyway that was how it was for my dog----his teeth will come in fine but if you notice any thing off take him to your vet.

They are chewing just like a child would on a toothing ring. Yes it will be fine.
