Just out of curiosity when did all of your little ones start sleeping all night every night? Mika still doesn't sleep through the night and she's 13 1/2 months, she slept through once at 12 weeks but other than that twice a night every night!

I was recommened the book BabyWise while I was pregnant. The goal is to have your baby sleeping through the night by 12 weeks. Reyna was sleeping thtough the night by 8 weeks. Now she sleeps nearly 12 hours.

i was blessed with good sleepers. they were both sleeping at least 8-9 hours at 7 weeks and esme has been sleeping 11-13 hours straight through since 10 weeks. i don't remember when finn started sleeping through that long but it was probably around the same time.

what does mika do when she wakes up? is she looking to eat or play?

Jenny's slept through the night since about 4 months. How long does Mika nap during the day? Maybe if she naps less she'll sleep more at night.

Cheyenne just turned one and she doesn't sleep through the night. When she was 10 weeks old she slept through the night...this lasted for about 2 months, and she has only slept through about 5 nights since then. It doesn't matter if she naps well through the day or doesn't nap at all, she's up at least once if not twice through the night. If you figure something out, please let me know!!!!

Wow, I guess I'm lucky. Angelique started when she was 5wks and every night since. My mom says I was 6wks when I started, so I guess sleeping good is just in the genes, lol.

Zan, she doesn't nap at all, wakes upat half 7 every day and goes to bed at half7 but then wakes up at 2 and 5.
B, she wakes up for a feed, which is making it very hard to stop breastfeeding

Danni, I'm going through the same thing with Eadie. She wants to breastfeed in the middle of the night to get back to sleep.

I'm just trying to make sure she is still awake when she goes into her crib so she can learn to get herself to sleep on her own and not expect me to help her every time. I tried weaning her but she reacted almost violently, lol. It got to the point where all she wanted to do was nurse all the time even during the day. She became very preoccupied with nursing so I let her nurse during the day again, which she had stopped doing a while ago.

Now she is waking up only once at night at around 4 am so I let her nurse on one side only and she goes back to sleep. I wouldn't mind feeding her at night so much but she has a bunch of teeth now and I don't want them rotting from her having milk in her mouth while she sleeps. She sure loves her some boobies though.

Sorry I don't have any great wisdom for you. I don't think Mika's hungry. She just wants the comfort of breastfeeding and having you close when she wakes up.

As for me, I'm just going to try to make Eadie get to sleep on her own so she learns self comforting and try to nurse her less and less until she's off.

Her doctor told me just give her less and less time on the breast until she doesn't need it anymore and so far it seems to be working, although she pitches a fit every once in a while and I have to calm her down by nursing her some more. All in all this method seems to be working though.

(sorry I'm so long winded, It's past my bedtime, good luck!)

Mika reacts very badly when i don't feed her too. She's really not hungry at all. I tried giving her an extra snack just before bedtime but she never wanted it because she was full up

You aren't the only one! I don't know how many people have told to just let her cry it out. We tried one night. She cried and screamed for over 2 hours! The longer she was in there the louder and harder she cried. If we went in to try and soothe her, it just made things worse. So...we are back to rocking and feeding her when she wakes up. Hopefully, she will start sleeping through on her own soon.
