If my husband and i had sex on the 3rd of March (protected) 7 March (protected) and i got my LMP 17th March 12 then had sex 24 March and 31 March (unprotected)when did i concieve? EDD is 22 Dec 12 and i thought this past Saturday 2 June i completed 9 weeks, but my doctor states it was 11 weeks. Why is that? Im confused and it's not helping that i cant help ease my husband's mind either. Please help me.

What you are talking about is the fetal age. What your doctor is measuting is gestationalage.

Gestational age = fetal age + 14 days

It is just an oddity that can cause mass confusion if you do not know about it.

Fetal age (FA) is measured from ovulation/conception and the baby will be 38 weeks old when due to be born.

Gestational age (GA) is measured from a fictitional LMP, 14 days before ovulation/conception, and the baby will be 40 weeks (GA) when due.

On your scans you will often see GA and FA and the two weeks difference.

Your due date is indicating conception around March 31.
