what to do if I missed 2 pills in a row on Loette tablets?

Hey

Im on Loette tablets. Last Friday I went for a weekend trip and forgot to take my tablets with me :/
I supposed to take first one on Friday and second on Saturday. I came back home on Sunday and took one and now taking everyday. Dont know if I did it correctly but this is what I understood from leaflet:

"Forgetting a white tablet
1. If you miss one or more white
tablets, leave them in the pack
and do not worry.
2. However, if you miss white
tablets and then forget to start the
next pack on time, start as soon as
you remember by taking a pink
tablet that matches the day of the
week from the pink shaded
section. You must also use an
additional non-hormonal method
of contraception (such as
condoms or a diaphragm but not
the rhythm or temperature
methods) until a pink tablet has
been taken daily for 7 days
without a break."

However it doesnt say if I should throw away those two pink ones (that I forgot to take) or leave them and take them on the last week...?

Des anyone know what should I do now?

I am assuming that in your pack the white ones are inactive and the pink ones are active?

If you miss 2 inactives, it doesn't matter just make sure you start your new pack on time. But you probably knew that ; )

If you miss 2 ACTIVE pills, take 2 pills for 2 days to catch up. This always made me sick to my stomach, so be prepared for some symptoms and possibly a screwy period coming up.

You MUST use a back up method such as condoms for the next 7 days, or abstain from sex all together to be super safe.

Unfortunately I started taking them normally, starting from Sunday (missed first two on friday and saturday) till today. So I didnt take two...when will I be safe again?

I believe you need to give it 7 days of tsking them on time every day, to be protected. Until then, also use a condom. Good luck!

I guess i'm confused. I thought you were starting a new pack. If you went 2 days with no pills, and NEVER took the missed ones i think you are unprotected till you start your next pack. Once you start the new one, give it 7 days. To be safe, call your doc for advice as I've never heard of a case where the pills weren't taken at all.
