Hi,
Welcome to the ehealthforum. I am glad to help you out. In view of the backache and worsening of the pain when you life your leg, it makes sense to an MRI of the lumbar and sacral spine. Pain which tends to worsen with the elevation of the leg is commonly due to the compression of the nerves emanating from the spinal cord. An MRI will be able to give a clear picture. I’ll suggest consulting a neurologist for the same. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care.
