Hi,
2 mounth ago I went to a HIV test center, and the result was negative but, something
keeps me thinking until now, the nurse who tested me, had no gloves, gown or mask
it really annoyed me and I asked him to wear gloves and he replies it is not necessary. he gaved my blood with naked hands. I closed my eyes to not seeing anything. then he put a cotton on my arm. after I went home, I checked the cotton, there was no visible blood except 2 drops of my own blood under that. he tested everyone, maybe HIV+ pations or ....
after that, I called to his supervisor to ask about that, the supervisor said he (the nurse) is a professional and know anything, there is no need to worry.
I still have some doubt, becasue I think he was not a professional(without gloves).
I'm still worry if there was any sign of infection, he touch anything in that room,
his hand maybe had something, I don't know, I respect peoples.
I have some symptoms after the test, i think it is related to my anxiety,
I tested(ELISA) again 6 weeks after the first test, it was negative, I'm waiting for the next test in next month(3 month,6 month and 12 month).
Does the PCR test after 60 days gives me some relief? if so, I'll go for that.
i just want to get rid of this hell feeling.
Am I put myself in a stupid situation?
Am I at risk?
should I trust the nurse?
Help me Please.
Best Regards.
