Peri neural Invasion- Present
Additional pathological finding-chronic Pancreatitis

Diagnosis:

Invasive well differentiated.
Ductal adenocarcinoma pancreatic
Head with peripancreatic lymph node metastatis

Unfortunately, pancreatic cancer commonly spreads along the nerves around the pancreas, and to the surrounding lymph nodes as well.

The report that you mention indicates a rather large primary pancreatic tumor, and lymph nodes that are involved with cancer. In most cases, patients with this type of cancer will require chemotherapy after surgery (with or without radiation therapy).
