Before I set up an appointment with my
doctor, i'd like to have some ideas about
what I might have. Heres a low down:
it started with a cough about a month ago,
and almost every day for 2 weeks, I have
been coughing so hard that I actually end
up throwing up, and afterwards, I have
major difficulty catching my breath.
I have been unable to do any sort of
physical activity as a fear of coughing
and having another one of these
"episodes". Its weird. I thought it was
just a cough until now, since it hasn't
gotten any better. I've never heard of
something like this.
I havn't lost any weight due to this, and
I am not overweight. I am usually very
healthy and I thought this was just a
routine flu. Its not.
Please, I need some help, i'm sick of
this. Just a few minutes ago I was rough
housing with my dad and I had to run to
the bathroom to throw up. I didn't even
feel it coming, I knew it was going to
happen. And then I couldn't breathe and I
had to calm down as I struggled for air.
Please, tell me what's wrong. Thank you.

I am not an expert, but it sounds like you
may have a slight case of asthma.

If it were asthma, wouldn't I be having
this for a long time? I've never had
trouble doing physical activity, and i've
never had trouble breathing. I never
heard of asthma just showing up out of the
blue.

i'm 27 yrs old and was diagnosed with
asthma last july.
