Main fibromyalgia symptoms are widespread pain with certain firm, knotted muscle regions that hurt when pressing on (painful trigger points), exhaustion or fatigue, unrefreshing sleep with trouble falling asleep and more importantly staying asleep.
Chronic headaches, jaw pain, memory and concentration difficulties, gastrointestinal complains in form of IBS are other symptoms of fibromyalgia.

The true diagnosis can be given only by specialist familiar with fibromyalgia when certain criteria is fulfilled.
