Trying to conceive for 2 tears now and no luck and have irregular periods around 32-40 day cycle. Was about 2-3 weeks late for period (last period was last week of September 2011) had cramps end of last month (October) but nothing. At start of november had lower back ache, moody, bloated and then 17/11/11 night, started spotting brown (NEVER DONE BEFORE) spotted for 4 days then had extremely light period (no protection in underware needed) only noticable when i wipped. Since i stopped light bleeding (18/11/11) have had twitches in left side stomach, really bad taste in mouth since yesterday (cant get rid of it) noticed blue veins on breasts, a couple white bumps around areola and they are the tiniest bit larger, slight cramps (like period pains you get BEFORE period). Took test this morning when I woke up and negative! What else could cause all these things? I was hoping to be pregnant but thought knowing my luck test would be neg and it was. Did I take the test too soon after that lig

Am I Pregnant Answer A28973
Hi,
Welcome to ehealthforum,
The symptoms (progressively delayed and lighter periods, spotting, abdominal cramps, low back ache, mood changes, bloating, changed mouth sensations/metallic taste, appearance of blue veins on breasts, Montgomery tubercles around areola) could suggest possibility of pregnancy. If pregnancy is suspected, look out for development of any other new symptoms suggestive of pregnancy and consider visiting your gynecologist at the earliest for thorough examination (to confirm pregnancy related changes/signs in body) and blood/serum HCG level test (to confirm/rule out pregnancy accurately). Sometimes urine pregnancy tests can keep showing you false negative results during early pregnancy as the kits are calibrated ones, so unless the hormone levels in urine reach a certain level, they do not show positive results. Consider being in regular follow-up and monitoring of your treating gynecologist and report any abnormal/new symptoms immediately. Take adequate rest. Drink plenty of water. Maintain healthy diet.
Take care.
