First of all, you can consult a Psychiatrist in your area for a complete evaluation and diagnosis. Your description of symptoms here is not sufficient to categorize them into a particular diagnosis. If you are found to have psychosis, you may receive a prescription of anti-psychotics, with adjuvants. Some of the common side effects of anti-psychotics are hand tremors, excess salivation and tardive dyskinesia. These depend on the class of anti-psychotics. SOme of the newer anti-psychotics are known to raise blood glucose levels.
The positive effects are mostly about reduction of the delusions and hallucination, improvement of sleep, development of emotional insight and a productive lifestyle.
