Had a CCK HIDA scan last week because of ongoing nausea and unexplained weight loss. The cck did not cause my gallbladder to contract? Why might this be? Is this a good, bad or neutral sign?

GB contractions
The Liver gives the gallbladder bile to store...when it sences CCK the gallbladder contracts to squeeze some of the bile into your stomach to digest the food and fats... so if your gallbladder isn't squeezing then it isn't giving any of the bile....I would say that's grounds for removal but i'm no doctor. Good Luck.
