I think that Adult Dating is whatever a person brings to the table...and that each person's intention is different. But it does sound kind of anonymous.

I know right... cuz adults would never work all week to make a living then ask a person of the opposite sex to go out to dinner and a movie with them, kiss them at the door and say goodnight. Adults don't date, they screen sex partners. EHHH

I am an adult and have had plenty of dates that were just that, dates. Most never led to sex. That's kind of what some adults do...date to find out if they are compatible with someone and then have sex.

Dating is code for sex
Or so they say. I think everyone defines their relationships by their own perceptions and beliefs and there neither is nor should be any steadfast rule about dating and sex. That said most people who are "dating" are sexually intimate with one another. You can generally tell when someone begins having sex with someone else when they stop referring to it as "Going on a date" and start using the term "Dating"

I think that John is right. Adult dating is for people looking for no strings attached sex. Its becoming more common it todays world because men and women are working more to make ends meet and have less time for dating. So the turn to adult dating websites because they need or should I say want an open sexual relationship.
