Internet is the search of choice. So simple and satisfies my curiousity!

I usually go straight for the internet... actually I usually just go here and ask it first, lol. But then I usually go to my husband or inlaws and ask them.

LOL. This might be a little biased poll, as we're asking USERS of an internet health forum where they find their answers to health questions...but interesting nonetheless!

This poll looks familiar lol. Yes, this is true though, that the internet is obviously going to be the place people are going to say because they are here lol.....but then again, you never know if they come here after they've tried calling their doctor first or something.

I use both my Dr. and the internet.

For the little iretating things, I tend to go to the net first. My medical-aid is already down the tubes since April this year .

When I feel that something is a bit more serious, I go to the Doc first then I go to the net to read up on the diagnosis.

Me and my doctor are basically helping each other. Very few doctors has heard of Marfan's and this is my doctor's first case, so whenever I can help him by being prepared with possibilities, he is all too happy. It saves some time and tests and avoids misdiagnosis.
