what exactly do genital warts and herpes usually look like? i have had 2 pap smears in the past year and am currently 9 months pregnant i am noticing these pinkish mole type things popping up on my left inner thigh right and right around my patty line on the left side. i have only had two partners this year and one is my current boyfriend which i didnt see this on either of them but i am totally freaking out because im scared the doctors didnt catch something in my pap smear and it could affect my baby at delivery. can u call out what these molish things might be?

Hello,
Welcome to ehealthforum.
Get the ‘molish’ things examined by your gynecologist. The PAP smear will not have anything to with the lesions outside the cervix/vagina.
If any infectious cause is found, you will need to be treated with antibiotics/antifungals to avoid infection spreading to the baby. Genital warts and herpes are different in appearance and are accompanied with itching and discomfort.
Take care.

Hi Amber18, I have hpv virus that causes genital warts and it didn't show up on my pap smear you have to be examined. Just because your partner doesn't have anything visible doesn't mean he don't have the virus. I was prescribed Condylox. It's a gel that you use and mine are gone within 30 days but it does not get rid of the virus.
