Hi,
Welcome to ehealthforum,
It is difficult to comment on the cause for the abnormal spotting that you describe without examining you and going ahead with further evaluation. Possibilities of hormonal imbalances, ovarian suppression/failure, anovulatory cycle, pregnancy (if you had been sexually active again without protection) cannot be ruled out. Visit your treating doctor/gynecologist at the earliest for further evaluation to look for the underlying cause, and get started with appropriate treatment measures to help you control the symptoms and regulate your periods. Be in regular monitoring and follow-up with your treating doctor/gynecologist and report any new/abnormal symptoms immediately. Drink plenty of water. Take adequate rest. Maintain healthy diet and lifestyle.
Take care.
