Q: What causes vaginal problems?

i have had 7 different problems in my vaginal area in the past 6 years, first starting with abnormal cells in a smear having to have a colposcopy, thrush gonnoreha chlamydia, bv, urine infection, inflamed uterus and now discharge sour smelling and slight period, please can u help, what could be the problem

Gonorrhea, Chlamydia infection might cause bacterial vaginosis, urine infection, and inflamed uterus if untreated correctly. Other bacteria might cause the same condition, too. Whether the conditions were related or new separate infections occurred every time can not be told. You might want to have vaginal swab and urine culture with antibiogram to determine the exact cause and the most effective antibiotic.
Please, have in mind that your partner should be treated with the same antibiotic because there is a big possibility that he has the same infection which, if left untreated, might come back again to you after your treatmentis finished.
