My doctor thinks I could have Mono, however my test came back negative which is not uncommon even if you DO have mono. However, I am not really tired..I do have stomach cramps, a really sore spleen, back aches, dizziness, belching and I am only tired when I have to move around. I also have trouble falling asleep until the early morning.
I read your question and i understand your concern. Even if it is mono it needs supportive care and rest and symptoms will improve in a weke or two. Tylenol for pain and avoiding contact injuries and sports.
I hope it helps. Stay in touch with your healthcare provider for further guidance as our answers are just for education and counselling purposes and cannot be an alternative to actual visit to a doctor.
