About a week ago I found out that the fetus had died at 8 weeks ( I was suppose to be 12 weeks). I just want to know what are the risks of waiting to miscarry on my own, instead of having a surgery.

dead fetus is regarded as a foreign body if it is remained so long. It is susceptible to infection so, it is better to do termination.
