Q: Wet spots on pants

I am experiencing a very embarassing situation where I feel wet in the seat of my pants constantly. It is not incontinence, more like a hot flash between my legs. All of my pants will have a wet spot that looks exactly like I wet myself and didn't make it to the bathroom. This is very noticable and I can see it clearly when I take my pants off. There is no odor or anything but definitely wet. I notice it happens more when I either sit for long periods of time and on leather. What can I do about this? Is this a symptom of menopause or something else? I feel like I am always going to have something to be embarassed about. I went through a period where I would hemorrhage all the time and I would be afraid to stand up from my chair for fear of an embarassing sight. Now here I am again afraid to stand up for fear it will look like I peed on myself. I am turning 49 next month and I have not had a period since October of 2008 and I am experiencing all the other 500 symptoms. Please help!

I think you are definitely going through the signs of Menopause...You may want to see your OB-GYN and speak with he/she to see if they suggest some hormones to help you through this time in life....Good luck and welcome to ehealth...There are a lot of women here to help you through this time in your life...

Best wishes,
Caroline

Menopause Symptoms
I know exactly what you are talking about. That has happened to me several times without much warning. My doctor wasn't concerned and it hasn't happened again in a while. Menopause symptoms are unpredictable.
