Q: Weird lumps around anus

I like to keep tabs on my body and make sure that everything is in good condition. I make sure my anus is clean as often as possible and I examine it in a mirror sometimes as well.

I noticed that I have some purplish squishy bumps around my ring the last time I looked in the mirror. They seem like they might have fluid inside of them but they aren't swollen or sore like a pimple would be. When I looked at it in the mirror I was stretching myself open a bit to see properly, so they may be on the inside just a little bit.

I have a picture that I took but I didn't want to just put that out there. If I can send that picture or if anyone has any idea what they might be, please let me know. I'm a bit worried.

They are probably just Hemorrhoids. These can be caused by straining the anus while having a bowel movement or a number of different things, including obesity. As long as they do not itch and do not interfere with your normal day to day life, I say just leave them alone. But, if you find them becoming an issue as in itching horribly, can't sit down because of pain, or bloackage in bowel movement, I would suggest going to the doctor immediately! I hope this helps you.

I'm not convinced that they are though. I've had hemorrhoids before and they've never looked like this. Sad

sounds like the same thing i've got and been looking for an answer too. but seem to have a couple smaller ones and a larger one but dont itch or bother me except that I know they're there. I'm not over weight or unclean. could it be from a detachable shower head with to much pressure, just pushing to hard, I eat pretty healthy. I dont know. any help?
