Hi,
Welcome to ehealthforum,
If you are pregnant, the bloating and weight gain only in abdominal area would be due to the weight of the growing uterus with the baby. If you are not pregnant, then other causes like thyroid abnormalities, Cushing’s disease, ovarian cysts, etc should be looked for and evaluated. Visit your doctor/gynecologist at the earliest for examination and thorough evaluation to look for the underlying cause. Treatment as appropriate (based on examination findings and investigation results) would be started to help you control the symptoms. Be in regular follow-up and monitoring of your treating doctor/gynecologist, and report any new/abnormal symptoms immediately. Drink plenty of water. Take adequate rest. Maintain healthy diet and lifestyle.
Take care.
