Q: Weight gain on Depo shot

Ok. So I gave birth 6 months ago and my appetite completely disapeared. I hardly eat. I want to gain weight so bad. I was up to 115lbs when I wasnt pregnant, and now im down to 92lbs. I need help it seems like I keep loosing weight everyday. My friends tell me to get ont he shot cuz itll boost up my appetite and make me gain weight. What do you guys think?? I really hope to hear from somebody that is willing to take some time and help me out a bit. Thank you and god bless.

The shot will not necessarily help you gain weight. There are different side effects for everyone. I would highly recommend going to a doctor and telling him what is happening with you. There could be a reason for lack of hunger and weight gain, and he may be able to pinpoint and fix what is going on. Good luck!
