I've been on Marvelon 21's for almost a year now. I take the pills for three months before taking a break for a period.
When I go back on the pill after the break I find my appetitte goes crazy and I can eat non-stop even when I'm full. I gain weight, even if I starve myself to keep my weight down. I can gain about 10 pounds if I eat a balanced diet.
Also, I seem to gain a bit of a 'ponch' like a fat diposit on my lower abdomen, no matter what I do. I always look bloated. Is there a way to get rid of this while on the pill? As soon as I go off, my abdomen goes back to normal. It's just frustrating because I think I'm fat, but I'm really not. Help!

What do you think would happen if you just took them continuously? Not take a break at all, so your hormones stay even?

If you only get like that after taking a break then I'd stop taking a break!
Otherwise, you could try switching to a different pill.
