Quick update. Baby's heartrate is 155. I
gained 1 lb in the past 2 weeks. Baby's
head is down. I am 1.5 cm dilated. Weekly
appointments start after I get my strep-b
test in 2 weeks. My pelvis feels like it
is being ripped apart. I am supposed to be
in bed
bye for now!

I was fixing to say. If you are 1.5 cm
dilated at 33 weeks you need to be in bed.
Pre term labor sucks. I know from
experience. I started dilating at 30 weeks
so I can feel ya on that one. Good luck,
only four more weeks to make it full term.
Just to give you a little hope, I was 5 cm
dilated when I went to be induced. They
took me off the meds to stop my
contractions at 36 weeks and I had
contractions every day. I just wasn't
progressing fast enough to stay in labor
at that point. I was then induced at 37
weeks 6 days on my request. I believe that
if you are 5 cm and 90% effaced they
should induce no matter what though. I
lived 45 minutes away from the hospital
and was scared of not haivng time to make
it there.

I want to cry!!! I just got back from L
& D where I went last night because I
was throwing up and having contractions.
They gave me a shot to stop contractions
but I don't understand why they won't give
me anything to mature her lungs! I'm 3 cm
dilated and I'm scared to death that
she'll come early! She's estimated, by
ultrasound, to weigh 4lb 12 oz., which
they said was great. Keep your fingers
crossed that she stays in AT LEAST 3 weeks
and 5 days longer!!! I'm also scared
because this is my 2nd time going in and
they won't try to stop contractions after
34 weeks!!!
Edited to add: this staying in bed thing
sucks! im borrowing my dad's laptop to
entertain myself for awhile
