Hello. Can anybody help me? I am 7 weeks pregnant and I am in UNBEARABLE lower back pain!!! This started about 2 weeks ago with some mild back pain that has continued to get worse each day. Now I am at the pain that I cannot sit, stand,or even lay down without unbelievable lower back pain. It is even starting to go down my legs and wrapping around my waist! I went to the doctor and he said that he thought it was just my body getting ready for the baby to grow, but my OBGYN disagreed...they said that the hormone that would cause your body to expand and start to make room wouldn't happen until much later in my pregnancy. The pain was so bad that I ended up in the ER last night! They did an ultrasound and said that everything looked good with the baby and they wern't sure why I was having so much pain. I have a 2 year old and I didn't have any back pain with him during my pregnancy. Does anybody have any answers? I would really appreciate if somebody who have gone through something like this would let me know if this is "normal" or something I need to worry about!

I'm 5w4d and I had a couple of days of back pain. I'm much older now, but w/my first-born I got a spinal b4 his delivery. IDK. Every pregnancy is different. I don't think they're ever the same. This is my 4th and everything is different.

when i was in my first trimester, my lower back hurt just as bad! it felt like my tailbone and surrounding area was bruised. i never really found out why but it went away once my 2nd trimester started. I'm now 37 weeks and just starting to get the back pain ever so slightly as my body prepares for birth. personally, i say no worries...but if it's too concerning for you then definitly follow up with OB. good luck!

I know how you feel! I have had some serious Back pain as well as stomach pain for a few weeks now(7 weeks preggers). This is my second pregnancy and I don't remember hurting like this with my first. I have also been going to the bathroom in the middle of the night almost every night now. I'm beginning to hate being pregnant already and I'm only in my second month! I wouldn't worry too much about the pain unless it is accompanied by bleeding, everything I have read says it is normal. If you are really worried though, go back to your Doctor.

Best of luck to you all!
