Im 24 weeks pregnant and yesterday I had severe cramping in my lower abdomen and right leg.. My doctor advised me to go into the hospital to get checked cause last time that happened I was in labor with my son who is now four. Well they checked everything and said every things fine but they couldn't explain the pain.. Well I went home went to the rest room and my urine was blood tinged so I ignored it and went ot bed, and when I woke up this morning and the cramping was gone but there was even more blood in my urine, and when i wiped it was light pink. A few hours later the blood in the urine got pretty dark, and you can tell its blood for sure now.. But still when i wipe its still light pink and no blood on my undergarments. I called my doctor and he said its probably nothing to worry about. Im still worried, I have always thought when your pregnant blood is never good.. Has anyone else went though this and kinda ease my mind a little? I also noticed Im not urinating as much and I have lost my appetite.. that might be from the stress of worrying about the blood though.. Not sure!

At the hospital the never tested my urine for anything or did a ultra sound, just a heart rate monitor..

Is the blood coming from your bladder or uterus??.Do you have burning when you urinate?,If the blood is from your bladder then you could have a urine infection or something else could be kidney releated but it is not normal and your doctor is wrong to tell you it is,but it might not be something related your pregnancy,I had blood in my urine when i got a bad urine infection i also had extreme urgency to pee all the time, and severe burning when urinating i hope ive helped,I do advise you to ask your doctor to investigate further.also if it is not from your bladder and it is from your uterus then it needs to be investigated as it could be placental abruption or something similar as bleeding in the second trimester is not common but it does happen and the source should be found. good luck Smile
