its not hick ups, if your baby has the hick ups it feels more like a slower pulsating sensation in your abdomen. I have no idea what it is but I'm 37 weeks and 4 days pregnant and just started feeling the same bubbly sort of thing above my crotch too.

baby dropping??
wierd. maybe its because you guys are getting so close to your last weeks of pregnancy. Maybe its a thing that happens before the baby f=drops or something? Sounds pretty normal if everyone is experienceing it! I get bubbly feelings, but I am 20 weeks along and its just the baby moving!

38 weeks, pulsing, twitching feeling in lower abdomen.
I am 38 weeks and have felt it 3 times in last week. It feels both like pulsing and tapping and right above my crotch as well. Almost like twitching. Thought it was Braxton Hicks but so far i have read that that is like tightening that holds for half a minute or more. Hopefully someone will be able to answer what this is!

I get some wierd bubbly feelings sometimes low above my crotch & sometimes off to the sides. It very well could still be gas bubbles because our intestines are stretched all around right now. I found if I switch positions, it sometimes goes away. Don''t know for sure if it is gas because it never passes.

ive been getting this for a while, and got it in my 1st pregnancy. I put it down to the baby wiggling it's head around, or has it's hands down this having a fiddle!!!!

I'm 31 weeks and have had this exact same sensation - slightly sharp lower bubbly pain - hard to describe! The baby has been moving a lot the past few days... I think it might just be some sharp kicks on nerves down there or something?

I'm 30wks and have also started feeling it. Its like a squishy bubbly feeling, completely painless. I often feel it when I sit down or move awkwardly. Have no clue what it is and Gynae laughed when I described it to him. Who knows, no other symptoms have come up.

I am 40 weeks pregnant today with the same feeling but completely painless....my dr said it is most likely the baby practicing how to breathe so that their lungs are strong enough when they exit the womb...I have been feeling it since I was 35 weeks. pregnant
