I was 6 weeks pregnant on friday pasted. My husband and I are really excited as this is our first but i have been getting what feels like period cramps and i dont know if this is normal or not. The doctor says that as long as there is no blood i am not to worry. I may be over reacting as this is our first but has anyone else experienced this? Any advise welcome Wink

Hello - I just found out I am pregnant 2 weeks ago (8 weeks pregnant currently). I had the same issue. I prolonged taking a pregnancy test because I was having "menstral" cramps and thought my period would be coming soon. My doctor told me the cramps are from the uterus growing and preparing for pregnancy. I double checked a book a bought on pregnancy and it said the same. 8 weeks and I still get cramps now and then. Today I am scheduled for my first ultrasound. VERY nervous! Best of luck to you!!

aww, im happy to hear that! i cried at my ultrasound a few weeks ago. i had a blighted ovum in february.. so i was scared there wasnt going to be anything in there again this time. i keep the ultrasound picture on my kitchen counter in a frame to remind me every day how lucky i am <3 im very glad that your ultrasound went great! once they see/hear the heartbeat your chance for miscarriage drops to about 3%! which, when i was at the doc, was the best news in the world to hear. so dont worry about the cramping.. everything seems to be going great for you

I havent personally had it Pammie123, but I have heard of implantation bleeding, which is just very light bleeding from the egg planting itself into the uterine wall! I wouldnt sweat it, but If you get more pain and bleeding, make sure you tell your doctor.

Hi. I'm 5w4d and i had (WARNING: TMI) light pinkish spotting, yesterday, w/brownish stains, then nothing in the evening and nothing today. I don't have cramps nor AF symptoms. We're praying this is not another CP. My u/s is on 07/23 to see what is going on inside. Congrats to everyone expecting. We had DET/IVF on 06/23.
