I am 19 and healthy, I donated eggs the eleventh of November, unprotected sex after egg donation, Exactly ten days following that I had extreme bleeding and pain along with sore breasts and fatigue, this ended after 5 days and a regular period has continued since three days after the first ended. I am very sick of this. Im not sure if it is because my body is young and all of the hormones causing a problem. I already have a child which should have diminished my chances for cervical cancer. Would like some advice as my doctor had non to give us. If anyone has previous egg donation stories, or general period stories that could help it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Hi,
Welcome to ehealthforum,
If you had been put on hormonal medications before egg harvest, the current abnormal bleeding and symptoms could be attributed to the medication use. You should consider visiting your doctor/gynecologist for thorough evaluation to look for the underlying cause. Treatment as appropriate (based on the examination findings and investigation results) would be started to help you control the bleeding and regulate your periods. Consider being in regular monitoring and follow-up with your treating doctor/gynecologist and report any new/abnormal symptoms immediately. Drink plenty of water. Take adequate rest. Maintain healthy diet and lifestyle.
Take care.
