Menstruation Answer A36417
Hi,

Welcome to the ehealthforum and I am glad to help you out.

I can understand your concern for such pain and considering your symptoms, pelvic inflammatory disease and endometriosis should be ruled out. Endometriosis is the presence of endometrial-like tissue outside the uterine cavity, which induces a chronic inflammatory reaction. A transvaginal ultrasound or rather an MRI will be a better investigation for the confirmation of the diagnosis.

Please do consult a gynecologist and discuss this possibility and seek further investigation & treatment.

I sincerely hope that helps. Take care.
