im a 16 year old male who about a month ago had a high wbc of 28,000 i was running a very high fever, my throat was extremely sore and swollen, ihad severe muscle pain and felt really dizzy and out of it. i could barely even walk. my doctors all told me i had a severe infection but couldnt figure out what was causing it. after about two weeks of antibiotics it seemed to clear up, my wbc went back down to 7,000. i was given a bag of levaquin through iv, two sepreate shots of 1mg rocephin, and 10 days of oral cefdinir. about 1 month after the incident i still have not gained any weight back. ive always been very skinny and petite but im down to 103/104 and it wont go up. not even after working out and eating as much as i can. the past couple of weeks ive had common cold symptoms and loose but not watery diarrhea. my doctor seemed very worried but couldnt tell me much. she did a thyroid test another cbc and a hiv test and is making me an apointment with an endocrinologist. im waiting on the tests to come back. i also have a lot of leukimia and diabetes in my family. could you tell me maybe what im going through or maybe give some suggestions as to what could have caused all of this.
