I have large breasts and a frail body. Is there any medication/any way at all to reduce breast size without surgery. Losing weight is not an option since I lose it everywhere except my breasts.

Hi,

Welcome to the ehealthforum and I am glad to help you out. Unfortunately there is no effective way of reduction in breast size except for surgery. So you should get it done. Also some precautions need to be followed afetr the surgery. After breast reduction surgery, take adequate precautions to avoid any strenuous activity that produces an additional strain on the stitches, eat a healthy nutritious diet and get back to light work in 2 to 3 weeks.

Exercising should be limited to stretching, bending and swimming for the first few weeks until stamina returns. A good athletic bra is recommended for support. It is best to avoid heavy lifting or pushing for at least a month and also intercourse is to be avoided for 1 week after surgery.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care.
