There are may things that can cause excessive watery discharge:
The birth control pill
yeast infection
bacterial vaginosis
trichomoniasis
cervical abnormalities
Are you experiencing any other symptoms? Pain? Itching? Odor?

Well, if it's gone now, it could have simply been hormonal. Right before I ovulate and right before my period starts, I get excessive discharge. That could be the case with you also.
I thought it was an infection or disease because it seemed to last longer than usual. I'm glad to hear that it is no longer a problem for you.

Extremely eHealthy
Normal monthly cycle
It sounds like a normal healthy menstrual cycle. This is due to hormonal changes to prepare for the release of an egg and the possible fertilization of that egg. The discharge comes from your cervix.

After your period you should be dry.
It then gets slightly wet and see-through and this continues to increase in quantity with the discharge getting more slippery between your fingers. It can also form stretchy bands between your fingers.
Just after ovulation it turns sticky, milk colored or yellow until it gets dry before your next period.
Some women gets very little. Some women get enough so that they must wear pantyliners to stay comfortable. This cycle will continue until menopause and will be affected by your general health, diet and hormonal changes.
