Hi, I am 27 years old and been on the pill, Microgynon 30, due to my periods being heavy and painful. Now my breasts are warm and tender, also my left one is bigger. My Doctor told me not to worry and changed my pill, which I start in a week! Can the pill cause this?? Any help would be grateful!

Yes, birth control hormones can affect your breasts. It can make both of them, or one of them grow and enlarge slightly due to the hormones in the pill. Switching brands may or may not help this. Everyone's body reacts differently to different pills. Good luck!

It could very well be from the pills.

Change in shape or size is also a sign you'll want to check out with a doc if it doesn't go away, it can be (rarely) a warning sign for cancer.
