Q: Want to delay period

So, I usually start my period at the end of the month around the 26th, 27th. This year Im going on a cruise May 31st-June 7th and I dont want to ruin my trip by being on my period. I stopped taking my yaz at the end of january, but I wanted to delay my period so that it wont start until the 2nd week of june. If I start taking my YAZ BC at this friday and I dont take the 3 placebos and just go straight to the next pack will it delay my period a whole week? Please help with any advice

ask ur general practioner for a prescription of Provera. it will prolong your period and once you stop ur cycle will start all over again. my mom is an MD and she does it for patients who have honeymoons and such. i had to take it for irregular bleeding (21 days) so i could start a new period and start taking my pills when the new one came. good luck
