18 years old. Female.
For more than a year or two I've been woken up in the middle of the night with my body trembling, every muscle tensed, head dizzy, breathing hard, and super sick to my stomach. Half the time I throw up. If I try laying back down the tremors begin again. So after being woken up it's impossible to get back to sleep. Throughout the day I still faintly feel the dizziness and the sickness and it keeps me from eating because I don't want to get sick again.

I thought maybe it was nighttime anxiety attacks because all the physical symptoms are there, and I wake up thinking about all the things that have recently been troubling me. But I never have that feeling of doom or that I'm about to die like what most people with anxiety attacks do.

I don't know if it's relevant, but this always happens around 5am no matter how early or late I go to bed.

It could be a number of things causing this...from sugar levels, anxiety, panic attacks, drugs, etc.

If it continues make an appt with your doctor.
