I have been on Seasonique for 2.5 years. I have had some weird symptoms lately. I have been waking up during the night, some times like 10 times. I also have gained about 10lbs over the past month and a half. I also have had some light brownish discharge and urinating more frequently over the past week. Long story short, I got my wisdom teeth out on 1/1/12. They put me on antibiotics, i only took 2 days and ended up having an allergic reaction. I then got an infection and they put me on another type of antibiotic and ended up having an allergic reaction to those antibiotics (I only took them for a day or so). I started a new pack of Seasonique on 1/1 as well. I only use the birth control to prevent pregnancy and had sex withing 10 days of me getting my wisdom teeth out. Then 3 weeks later, i missed 3 days of my birth control. I took 2 pills each day for 3 days. I had sex during that time. Could I be pregnant? When could i take a pregnancy test to find out? Wont et period till April.

The chances of pregnancy cannot be ruled out if you were sexually active without protection during antibiotic use or if you have missed taking 2 or more than 2 active pills in the pill pack (as the efficacy of the birth control will get affected). The symptoms (disturbed sleep, frequent urination, weight gain, brown discharge) that you describe could suggest possibility of pregnancy. Consider visiting your doctor/gynecologist at the earliest for thorough examination (to confirm pregnancy related changes/signs in body) and blood/serum HCG level test (to confirm/rule out pregnancy accurately). Stop the birth control use if you suspect chances of pregnancy or if pregnancy gets confirmed. Be in regular monitoring and follow-up with your treating doctor/gynecologist and report any new/abnormal symptoms immediately. You may also consider taking a urine pregnancy test (on an early morning first urine sample) after 7-10 days of missed/altered periods to see if you get positive results, or get it confirmed by a blood HCG test.
